In 1769 Spanish colonized California under the King of Spain and began to move North of Baja settling in San Luis Obispo County. Spanish settlers brought and planted olive trees during this colonization. Based on research of our olive groves, we believe they are the same trees planted by Spanish settlers. We believe our trees are over 200 years old, and the Spanish Manzanillo variety.
Our property features 5 distinct olive groves totaling over 120 trees. Cypress Grove, Pine Ridge Grove and Eagle Nest Grove are prime examples of our "hands off" approach. These groves are in near original condition. These trees are dry farmed, unmanicured and otherwise undisturbed, except during harvest. During harvest, all work is done by hand. The Highway Grove and House Grove are irrigated and tended to based upon environmental conditions.

Exciting NEWS! 2025 Olives harvested on October 7th are finally done brining! This large harvest is tasting great, and will de-brine for a few days to improve flavor and reduce saltiness. No Lye is used in my brining which is why the process takes so long, but the flavor and texture are worth the wait.
I will jar them after a few days and fill Pre-orders first and let everyone know how many jars are still available for sale. Thank you all for your interest and support!
